Bio: Norah Ger is the County Chief Radiologist and a practicing consultant radiologist in Nairobi, Kenya, with a Master of Diagnostic radiology and radiation medicine, and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees, from the University of Nairobi. She also has a certificate in Global Health Radiology from RAD-AID International, a nonprofit for improving radiology healthcare in medically underserved regions of the world. She is passionate about promoting accessibility and availability of medical imaging, physics, medical engineering, and AI/new technologies in the field of radiology in low- and middle-income countries.

Abstract: This presentation explores challenges in Kenya's radiology, emphasizing equipment shortages and training gaps. Solutions and the pivotal role of AI are discussed, with a final call for collaboration to enhance the global health impact of radiology.
