2019 - Talk to the FDA regarding youth access to and use of e-cigarettes.

2019 - Invited keynote speaker at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (the advocacy arm of the ACS) regarding the flavors in e-cigarettes, to prepare them for supporting tobacco flavor bans.

2019 - Invited to the Idaho State Capitol to present to a joint senate and house session on e-cigs in support of Tobacco 21, raising taxes on tobacco and tobacco flavor bans.

2019 - Invited to Rhode Island State Capitol to present to a joint senate and house health committee session on e-cigs in support of tobacco 21, raising taxes on tobacco and tobacco flavor bans.

2019 - Invited to the Rhode Island State Capitol to present to the house finance committee specifically in support of a bill to raise taxes on tobacco.

2019 - Invited to Sacramento to the CA State Capitol to be the lead witness in support of SB 38, prohibiting the sale of all tobacco flavors in CA.

2019 - Provided written testimony and evidence in support of the congressional hearing on Juul’s role in the vaping epidemic. 

2019 - Provided testimony in support of Los Angeles’ flavored tobacco ban; it passed!

2019 - Presented about my research findings and the Toolkit to the Interagency Committee on Smoking and Health, attended by members of the FDA, CDC, NIH, and the US Surgeon General.
