Our bullying study aims to unravel the neurobiology of peer victimization during adolescence. Our research team hopes to learn and understand the relationship between neurobiology and psychosocial correlates with peer victimization in adolescents, which ultimately is associated with academic challenges, negative self perceptions, and the emergence of depression early in life.

Our group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy study works to study and understand the efficacy and mechanisms of change, such as group climate and social functioning, of a group CBT treatment for adolescents with mood syptoms. Our CBT group works to reduce symptoms of mood and improve social functioning in youth. Group is conducted for 10 consecutive weeks, each session lasting for 90 minutes, and lead by our primary investigator and advanced graduate students.
