Our Research Focus

We conduct transdisciplinary team science to optimize care delivery to vulnerable mothers and newborns. Our work involves research of patient and families, clinical work areas, hospital, and health system structures. Research tools include analysis of linked clinical and administrative data sets, clinical trials, collaborative quality improvement efforts, surveys, and qualitative methodologies. We conduct our work in close collaboration with the CPQCC, CMQCC, and VON. High quality large data repositories and access to the membership of these organizations allows us to translate research findings into quality action.
