Registrars and Records Administration
Degree programs
Registrars’ offices are responsible for maintaining the academic
records of all current and former students at Stanford. This includes
grades, concentrations, degrees, and graduation honors that students receive.
In addition these offices ensure that degree progress is tracked,
academic milestones are recorded, and degree requirements are completed.
Non-degree programs
For each of the non-degree training programs offered by the School of Medicine and Stanford Hospital and Clinics, a central office maintains records of appointment or registration, tracks participants' progress, and certifies program completion.
- The Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME) approves activities designed for practicing physicians who are continuing their medical education, and authorizes certification of completion and credits for CME participants.
