Dr. Bragi Sveinsson Completes his PhD

Dr. Bragi Sveinsson, completed his PhD thesis, entitled "Quantitative Measurements and Artifact Correction Methods in Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging" describing ways novel signal models of the Double-Echo in Steady-State (DESS) sequence improves image quality, quantification and reduces artifacts in knee imaging. His work also included a method he developed to greatly accelerate MRI close to metal implants. Bragi will stay on with the BMR group for a postdoc. Congratulations Bragi!!
