Integrin Alpha-v-Beta and [18F]-R01-MG-F2 PET/CT in Measuring Response in Patients With Pancreatic Cancer and Healthy Volunteers
This pilot clinical trial studies the use of integrin alpha-v-beta [18F]-R01-MG-F2 Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) and Positron Emission Tomography-Magnetic Resonance Imaging in (PET/MRI) in measuring response in patients with pancreatic cancer and healthy volunteers. Integrins, such as integrin alpha-v-beta-6 (avb6), are a family of membrane receptors that are overexpressed on the cell surface of pancreatic cancers. [18F]-R01-MG-F2 targets avb6, which may improve early detection of and better stratify treatment options for patients with pancreatic cancer.

Neural Circuit Biomarkers of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Study
This study is currently recruiting Veterans only. The objective of this observational study is to test whether neuroimaging biomarkers of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) can be prospectively replicated in a large ecologically valid sample. We focus on cognitive network connectivity as a predictive biomarker of the clinical effect of TMS, and as a response biomarker of change with TMS. We address this objective through a pragmatic approach in which we recruit patients undergoing routine clinical care and program evaluation in a Veterans Administration multi-site clinical TMS program.

Pivotal Response Group Treatment for Parents of Young Children With Autism
This is a research study examining the effectiveness of pivotal response treatment group (PRTG) in targeting language skills in young children with autism. Research has demonstrated that behavioral interventions, such as Pivotal Response Training (PRT), lead to improvements in the core symptoms of autism. The purpose of this study is to further examine the effectiveness of teaching pivotal response treatment to parents of children with autism in a group format. To determine the effectiveness of pivotal response training group (PRTG) it will be compared to another parent education group by conducting a randomized controlled 12-week trial.

Study of Bimonthly VEGF Trap-Eye Compared to As-needed Administration or Other Therapy for Exudative Age-Related Macular Degeneration
Over the last several years, the standard of care for wet macular degeneration has become treatment with intravitreal injections of ranibizumab (Lucentis, Genentech), administered as frequently as every 4 weeks. In contrast, clinical trials of a soluble VEGF receptor, Aflibercept/VEGF Trap-Eye (Eylea, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals) have demonstrated maintained anatomic and visual improvement with many fewer injections (typically monthly injections for 3 months, followed by every-other-month injections, and as few as 5 injections a year). The purpose of this study is to determine whether patients who have switched from ranibizumab to VEGF Trap-Eye have comparable results.

Switching to Duloxetine to Ameliorate SSRI-Induced Sexual Dysfunction
Sexual dysfunction is a common side effect of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). The hypotheses of this study are that:1. subjects with major depression or dysthymia who are being treated with an SSRI and experiencing treatment-related sexual dysfunction will experience less sexual dysfunction if they are switched to duloxetine, and 2. they will experience either improved antidepressant response or no loss of antidepressant response.

Optimizing Catheter Insertion Technique for Ultrasound-guided Continuous Peripheral Nerve Blocks
Continuous peripheral nerve blocks (CPNB; also known as "perineural" catheters) provide target-specific pain control for a variety of surgeries. There has been increasing interest in the use of ultrasound guidance for regional anesthesia, and many techniques using ultrasound alone for perineural catheter insertion have been described. Catheters may be placed at various points along the brachial plexus (for upper extremity procedures) or in proximity to the femoral and/or sciatic nerve (for lower extremity procedures). To date, the optimal ultrasound scanning technique, catheter insertion endpoint, catheter placement location per indication, for the majority of ultrasound-guided continuous peripheral nerve blocks remain unknown. This study will help provide important information related to optimal ultrasound scanning techniques and will help identify ways to improve the success rates, onset times, and analgesic effectiveness of these techniques for real patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Oral Hymecromone to Treat Adolescents and Adults With Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
Primary objective: To evaluate the efficacy of hymecromone plus standard of care compared with standard of care alone in the treatment of adolescents and adults with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC).
Secondary objectives: To evaluate the change in Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) from baseline to 6 months post-treatment following treatment with hymecromone plus standard of care compared with standard of care.
To evaluate changes in biomarkers of PSC disease during hymecromone treatment, namely: (a) fibrotic effect (FibroScan); (b) inflammatory biomarkers (serum Hyaluronan (HA)); and, (c) T-cell count.Investigators

Study of Positron Emission Tomography and Computed Tomography in Guiding Radiation Therapy in Patients With Stage III Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
This randomized phase II trial studies how well positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT)-guided radiation therapy works compared to standard radiation therapy in treating patients with stage III non-small cell lung cancer. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Using imaging procedures, such as PET and CT scans, to guide the radiation therapy, may help doctors deliver higher doses directly to the tumor and cause less damage to healthy tissue.

Radiation Therapy With or Without Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With High-Risk Malignant Salivary Gland Tumors That Have Been Removed By Surgery
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. It is not yet known whether radiation therapy is more effective when given together with chemotherapy or alone after surgery in treating salivary gland tumors.
PURPOSE: This randomized phase II/III trial is studying radiation therapy with or without chemotherapy to see how well it works in treating patients with high-risk malignant salivary gland tumors that have been removed by surgery.Investigator
