Program Application and Admissions Requirements
December 4, 2007 is the deadline to submit your application and supplementary materials.
All applications to the Stanford graduate studies in the Biosciences Programs must be made through Graduate Admissions by the deadline.
Candidates who are selected to visit Stanford and interview will be
notified in January. Interviews at
Stanford University for invited student will be held on February 27 - March 2 , 2008.
Graduate Record Examinations
(GRE) General test is required. The subject test ( that can be taken in Biochemistry, Biology, Cell and
Molecular
Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics) is encouraged but not required. For more information on registering
for the Graduate Record Examination, you may call 1-609-771-7670 or review

Applications for the Biophysics program are processed by the general Biosciences
admissions office. Applicants should apply to the Biophysics home program
as described on the Biosciences
web page and select Biophysics Program.
Application fee is $105.00. Students applying via the Web may use Visa,
MasterCard, Discover or American Express cards. We strongly encourage you
to submit your application via the Web, thus, your application will be
processed faster and you will save money. If you are unable to use the
Web to submit an application, you may obtain application materials by writing
