Stanford Bio-X Frontiers in Interdisciplinary Biosciences Seminar, "Beyond Editing: How to Explore and Engineer a Living Genome Using Dead CRISPR Molecules"

Jan 17, 2019 (Thu) | 4:00 PM -5:00 PM
James H. Clark Center, 318 Campus Drive, Seminar Room S360 : Stanford, CA

Refreshments to be served at 3:45 PM. Dr. Qi is a pioneer in the CRISPR technology development for genome engineering. His research laboratory focuses on the bioengineering of genetics and cells. They are interested in developing genetic engineering technologies and exploring discovery-based synthetic biology for diverse applications, and explore how the human genome encodes functions, and how to rationally design genetic circuits for new therapeutics. Don't miss the companion seminar by Dr. Darlene Solomon, "A View into the 'Century of Biology' and Agilent", to be held January 15th.
