SEPI: Data and Safety Monitoring in Clinical Trials: The Role of DSMC

Expert review of interim data from ongoing clinical trials is critical to ensure the safety of participants and proper conduct of the trial. Dr. Link will explain the role and function of the data safety monitoring committee (DSMC), and the rationale for independent data analysis.
