Updates Regarding COVID-19 Advisory

In light of the University’s guidance around social distancing, we have reviewed our upcoming Pediatric Grand Rounds sessions and have decided to move forward with virtual sessions for the immediate future.

Pediatric Grand Rounds Webinar (CME): Oligo-amenorrhea in Athletes: Consequences and Management

This session will cover the three components of the female athlete triad i.e. low energy availability, menstrual dysfunction and low bone mineral density, with a focus on the endocrine changes associated with low energy availability that then result in impaired bone health. The session will also include a discussion of management strategies for low bone density in the adolescent female athlete.

This is the last session of Pediatric Grand Rounds before winter break. Pediatric Grand Rounds will resume Friday, January 8, 2021

Session Description
