Cancer Discovery Fund

The Stanford Cancer Institute is dedicated to innovative research that aims to unravel the secrets of cancer. The response to treatment, prevention of the disease, and early and accurate detection are all being studied at Stanford University to fight cancer and improve patient care.

The Cancer Discovery Fund supports Stanford’s physician-scientists and their groundbreaking research by providing vital resources at the initial stages of their projects.

The Cancer Discovery Fund helps to:

  • • Advance innovative research ideas.
  • • Accelerate early-stage drug development.
  • • Train future cancer researchers.
  • • Extend outstanding cancer research and care to communities in need.

Through annual gifts to the Cancer Discovery Fund, our physicians and scientists are able to continue to make significant advances in the fight against cancer through progressive research and expert patient care.
