Dr. Nataliya Kovalchuk awarded Certificate of Merit for the Service to the People of Ukraine

We are honored for Dr. Nataliya Kovalchuk to have received the Parliament of Ukraine Certificate of Merit for the Service to the People of Ukraine (Грамота від Верховної Ради України). This award goes to the whole Help Ukraine Group (HUG) team for the advocacy for #Ukraine abroad and for supporting Ukrainian cancer centers during the #war.

Stanford Symposium on Emerging Technologies and AI for Modern Radiation Oncology

October 26, 2023

The Stanford University, Department of Radiation Oncology is hosting a symposium bringing together thought leaders from Stanford and other institutions in the fields of radiation oncology to discuss novel treatment regimens and the artificial intelligence (AI) advancement in imaging, therapy, data science, and clinical practice. The symposium aims to foster insightful discussions and collaborative exchanges in cutting-edge radiation therapy techniques. An optional tour of Stanford Radiation Oncology Clinic is offered to the attendees.

Lei Xing receives ASTRO Fellowship (FASTRO)

Lei Xing, PhD, receives ASTRO Fellowship! The ASTRO Fellow designation (FASTRO) is awarded based on ASTRO membership, service to ASTRO and contributions to the field of radiation oncology. Dr. Xing will be honored at the ASTRO Awards Ceremony, held at ASTRO’s 65th Annual Meeting in San Diego on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Congratulations, Dr. Xing!

Tauhidul awarded prestigious NIH K99 Award

September 15, 2023

Tauhidul Islam, PhD, has been rewarded the NIH K99 award for his efforts in designing a novel contrastive feature analysis (CFA) framework for reliable visualization of the high dimensional feature space and effective design of high-performance DNNs for medical image analysis.

Syamantak awarded prestigious NIH K99/K100 grant

Syamantak Khan, PhD, postdoc in Pratx lab, has been awarded a grant from the NIH(NIDCR) for his research with organoid modeling of tumor heterogeneity with aims to develop precision therapy for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma patients.
