Drug Development: From a Concept to the Clinic
Using a blend of seminars and dynamic workshops, the curriculum is focused on educating the audience on all stages of drug development and related research and business processes—from discovery and translational science and how to launch new projects to analyzing data, communication and interpretation of results of clinical trials, regulatory issues, and commercial considerations in product development. Case studies will emphasize cardiovascular applications.

Stem Cells in Cardiovascular Regenerative Medicine
This course will consist of didactic lectures and journal club presentations on the basic principles and translational applications of stem cells for treatment of cardiovascular diseases. These lectures will be given by the course instructors or invited speakers. Another component of the course is peer-to-peer teaching by students-led journal club presentations. To synthesize knowledge gained from the course, the students will prepare a final report in the form of a research proposal.
