Lead author, Seung-min Park, PhD, a Senior Research Scientist in the Multimodality Molecular Imaging Lab, in collaboration with the Canary Center at Stanford for Cancer Early Detection and the Precision Health and Integrated Diagnostics Center at Stanford have developed a smart toilet that automates urine and stool analysis to sense early disease detection.
Their work, "A mountable toilet system for personalized health monitoring via the analysis of excreta", has been published in the journal Nature Biomedical Engineering.
Congratulations, Dr. Park and team!
