The Stanford Brain Development Project seeks to understand the neural basis of cognitive, emotional and social development in children and adolescents. Our research will eventually inform the development of more effective treatments and therapies for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and learning disabilities. Our current studies span a wide range of ages between 5-18 years of age, and include typically developing children and children with developmental conditions.
Over the years, hundreds of families in the Bay Area have participated in our research studies and provided critical data that have led to important breakthroughs in our knowledge of brain and cognitive development. Please join us on a purposeful journey of research and discovery, and help make our studies a success!
