About Us
The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine values diversity. The Anesthesiology Diversity Council (ADC) was formed in 2016. Initially the ADC included a few ambitious residents and faculty with a vision, and has since expanded to now include faculty, fellows, residents, and interns throughout the department. The goal of the ADC is to create a functional unit that will identify and cultivate the skills necessary to foster diversity, provide mentorship, create scholarly opportunities and prepare Stanford's anesthesiologists to address the health needs of a diverse population.
Mission Statement
The Stanford Anesthesiology Diversity Council's (ADC) mission is to recruit, support, retain, and promote diversity within the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine.
