Clinical Anatomy Summer Program (CASP)
For High School Students Interested in Medical and Health Professions

The Clinical Anatomy Summer Program (CASP) at Stanford University is for high school students considering careers in medical and health-related fields, such as medicine, surgery, dentistry, EMT/paramedics, nursing, biomedical engineering, occupational therapy, physical therapy, sports medicine, and medical education.
This in-person, week-long course will introduce students to the anatomy of the human body. Students will attend lectures given by Stanford Medicine faculty, engage in hands-on anatomy lab activities, observe surgical demonstrations, and attend workshops with Stanford physicians. All CASP students must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and will be required to show proof upon registration.
This is a NON-residential program. Students are responsible for daily transportation.

Program Dates:
Session 1: June 26th-30th, 2023
Session 2: July 17th-21st, 2023
CASP is a full-day program starting at 9 AM and ending at about 4 PM. A final schedule will be released to accepted students, and start and end times may be variable.

CASP Application
Prospective CASP students must complete an application to be considered for the program. High school transcripts must be uploaded in the application (unofficial transcripts are accepted). The application must be submitted by the application deadline, March 3rd, 2023 at 11:59PM PST. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and priority will be given to students who complete the application sooner, and answer application questions thoughtfully and thoroughly.

Program Fee:
The CASP program fee is $4,000. Upon program acceptance notification, a $1000 non-refundable tuition deposit will be due within 7 days, with the remaining balance of $3,000 due at the enrollment deadline, May 8, 2023.
Age Requirement:
Please note, students must be at least 15 years old at the start date of CASP.
