Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital

Since its opening in 1991 and recent expansion in 2017, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford (LPCH) has become an internationally-renown children’s hospital. LPCH is consistently honored by US News and World Report as one of the nation's best children's hospitals. It provides highly specialized pediatric care while continuing to serve as a community hospital for the children of the Bay Area. LPCH is a busy children’s hospital with 461 beds and six Centers of Excellence (Heart, Transplant, Cancer, Pregnancy and Newborn, Pulmonary & Cystic Fibrosis, and Brain and Behavior). Our radiology department uses the latest imaging technology and techniques to minimize or eliminate radiation exposure while accurately diagnosing injuries or diseases in children. Residents spend ~4 months on rotations at LPCH.
