The focus of the Xing Lab is on clinical and scientific innovation in radiation oncology and on translating recent technical advancements in physical and biological sciences and engineering into clinical practice to improve patient care. Broadly speaking, our research efforts are classified into three categories: (1) traditional investigator-initiated projects; (2) exploratory investigations; and (3) translational or clinically oriented studies. The research cover a wide range of subjects and are designed synergistically so that they leverage each other and benefit from the existing research infrastructure at Stanford.
