Welcome to the Wusthoff Lab
The Wusthoff Lab focuses on clinical research in newborns and children with, or at risk, for brain injury. We use EEG in at-risk neonates and critically ill children to better understand the underlying pathophysiology and mechanisms that may lead to worse outcomes. We are particularly interested in neonatal seizures as a potentially modifiable risk factor for worsened brain injury in vulnerable brain.
