            ° We generally require a minimum two-year commitment.
            ° For trainees without significant eye experience or from outside the U.S., some opportunities that start as                             volunteer positions may lead to later paid positions.

· Postdoctoral fellowships
            ° Graduate experience in vision research, molecular and cellular biology, or neuroscience research is the best                       initial preparation.
            ° Successful experience during graduate school (e.g., with publications and presentations) is required.
