Welcome to the Weinacht Lab, where we study hematopoiesis and immune system development in the context of specific, clinically relevant, genetic defects. A physician scientist with formal training in hematology/oncology/stem cell transplantation and never-ending fascination with the immune system, I have always been captivated by inborn errors in immunity and hematopoiesis. Our team focuses on solving the molecular puzzles that underly rare diseases to shed light on fundamental principles governing hematopoiesis and immune system development.
