Adam Patterson

He is skilled and passionate about his work.

He is very nice, which makes working with him very easy.

He is a team player and makes himself readily available to help his colleagues out at a moments notice.


He arrives early to all department presentations/meetings to help set-up and ensure that all IT issues are addressed before the meeting begins.


He is relied upon for many things and on a consistent basis he completes all tasks that are assigned to him.

Isbandi Sudirdja

He is always ready to help out anyone that needs it, no questions asked.

He is well versed in every area and he can go seamlessly anywhere in the facility and know what is going on.

He is always friendly and smiling and keeps everyone in a good mood.

When the team is short staffed, Bandi picks up extra work without being told to. Bandi always goes the extra mile!

He is very compassionate and loving towards all animals and he makes sure that he handles all animals he works with, with the upmost of care.

 

Alex Valdefiera

Takes every small task and big project seriously.

Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and take charge of his work.

Takes excellent notes on what needs to be done and what he has already completed and follows up with supervisor on a daily basis.

Covers six different animal facilities, multiple species and continues to build great rapports with his external and internal customers.

Has repeatedly demonstrated his leadership by kicking it into higher gear and making sure that other supervisors don’t have to worry about coverage in his group.

Candice Alfaro

She is enthusiastic to learn new things and gives 110% with a ‘can do attitude.

Her detailed animal record-keeping is one example of how meticulous she is.

Volunteers to teach others.

She shows a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and passion towards our animals every day. Animal welfare at Stanford is enhanced because of her care .

She has been great at intubating rabbits. As well as training others on how to intubate rabbits.

“He is innovative and brilliant in executing cases. For example: he collaborated on developing a home-made restrainer to be used for a toenail trim in mice. Ben presented this project as a poster and won first prize.”
