How To Apply
MD or DO students who will be enrolled in their fourth or final year at a school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or Education Department of the American Osteopathic Association at the time of the elective clerkship are welcome to apply for participation in a Stanford University School of Medicine Visiting Student Program.
Starting Academic Year 2026-27, applicants will use VSLO for the application process. The link to VSLO will be provided if there is an active visiting student elective clerkship appliction period.
The application process cannot be considered complete unless all requirements have been set to "compliant" status in VSLO.
