The Vera™ Cloud Testing Platform is a scalable, flexible, and low-cost “testing-as-a-service” platform that allows virtually any organization — public health departments, schools and employers — to field broad programs in testing, screening, and surveillance using remote self-collection. The Vera Platform enables COVID-19 testing at scale for both symptomatic and asymptomatic populations, connecting to multiple laboratories and transportation providers depending on your organization’s needs.

Stanford School of Medicine scientists are harnessing the Vera Platform first in the Community Alliance to Test Coronavirus at Home (CATCH) Study, a new COVID-19 testing and surveillance program in 12 counties throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The platform enables population-wide access to testing through the use of novel at home self-collection kits. The Stanford Health Care Clinical Virology Laboratory will provide high-throughput testing for the CATCH Study. For a complete list of Stanford testing locations, click here.
