Accelerating Medicine Partnership
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), 10 biopharmaceutical companies and several not-for-profit organizations have designed an unprecedented new partnership, managed through the Foundation for the NIH (FNIH), to identify and validate the most promising biological targets of disease for new diagnostic and drug development.
PJ Utz, MD, along with V. Michael Holers, MD, of the Univ. of Colorado, will organize all aspects of the AMP Network and serve as the main interface between the Network research sites, NIH, and other sponsors.
