Fellow Eugene Shkolyar receives 2022 Urology Care Foundation Research Scholar Award

Eugene Shkolyar, one of the current urologic oncology fellows, was recently awarded a 2022 Urology Care Foundation Research Scholar Award. The Research Scholar Program supports future research leaders in urology as they begin their careers by providing necessary training, and guidance. Eugene’s award is supported by the American Urologic Association Western Section. Under the mentorship of Dr. Joseph Liao, he will be investigating the use of adjunctive molecular biomarkers and imaging in improving quality and outcomes in the surgical management of non-muscle invasive bladder cancers.
