What's a toolkit?
Toolkits are developed by the Stanford REACH Lab and comprise of a collection of curriculums, lessons, programs, and resources catered to a specific topic. While there are some crossovers between toolkits, our intent is to keep everything packaged and easy for educators, parents, and the like to navigate our resources. You and Me, Together Vape-Free Curriculum
The You and Me, Together Vape-Free curriculum includes a middle and high school program that are 6 lessons, approximately 50 minutes each. It also includes a two-lesson elementary school version, approximately 50 minutes each. Every lesson provides activities, online quiz games, and worksheets in addition to presentations, resources, and other materials aimed at addressing key factors associated with youth e-cigarette use.
Healthy Futures Curriculum: Alternative-to-Suspension Curriculum
An Alternative-to-Suspension (ATS) program created by the Stanford REACH Lab. this course is for any student caught using tobacco/vaping on school campus, or anyone working with students who want to quit.
Smokeless Tobacco 101 Curriculum
1 lesson providing activities, online quiz games, worksheets and discussion guides. The material is aimed at addressing key factors associated with smokeless tobacco. Understand the risks and learn about the history of smokeless tobacco use.
Un-PACK-ing Cigarettes Lesson
1 lesson about cigarettes providing activities, a discussion guide followed by a Kahoot! This material is aimed at addressing key factors associated with cigarette use and discusses: health effects, ingredients and the the history of the tobacco industry.
Hookah 101 Curriculum
1 lesson providing activities, online quiz games, worksheets and discussion guides. The material is aimed at addressing key factors associated with hookah use. Understand the risks and learn about parts of a waterpipe.
Explore Factsheets & Posters
Factsheets can be used to educate your community about the harms of using tobacco/nicotine. Use as handouts or post them up in educational or clinical settings to educate your audience.
