Sample Curriculums

While we encourage educators to decide on which activities to use within their classes or for their particular group of students, based on feedback from educators we have also created three curriculums that you can use, each broken down into 50-minute sessions. These may be of interest, especially if you have limited time to organize and plan out the curriculum yourself. The curriculums include:

1)    a 1-session version that covers the essential  information;

2)    a 5-session version that covers the essential activities and information;

3)    an 8-session version that incorporates more student participation;

4)    a 10-session version that includes some demonstrations to help students further understand complicated concepts.

These pre-determined curriculums allow for more consistency within and across districts and schools. Even if you use a pre-determined curriculum, we hope that you will still review the Toolkit overall, including the Crash Courses, Resources, and other links and information.  

We also invite you to contact us if you want technical assistance creating a different curriculum that best fits your students, and/or if you want a training on using the Toolkit overall and any specific curriculum.
