Our Approach
We utilize an interdisciplinary approach which combines tools of systems neuroscience with molecular biology, optics, and biotechnology in animal models and humans. We are focused on the inner ear because the majority of hearing loss originates in the inner ear.
Research
Our current research projects are focused on addressing major unmet medical needs in four distinct areas.
Education
Dr. Stankovic educates medical students, PhD students, residents, clinical and research postdoctoral fellows and her peers.
Clinical Care
Clinical Focus: hearing loss. We conduct clinical studies to guide future strategies for prevention and treatment of hearing loss
Meet the Lab
We're an international group of predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees dedicated to finding better treatments for hearing loss.
