Who We Are

SPHERE is one of five national centers funded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities to focus on using precision-medicine tools to improve the health of underserved ethnic and racial groups.

What We Do

Each of the SPHERE projects addresses a knowledge gap that would allow use of the tools of precision health to reduce health disparities based on race and ethnicity.

What is Precision Health?

Precision Health is a fundamental shift to more proactive and personalized health care that empowers people to lead healthy lives.

SPHERE Library

The Library includes tools and resources developed by SPHERE to advance precision health research for the promotion of health equity.
