Reciprocal, Inclusive, Networking Group (RING) - Group Based Mentorship Program, SoM

SoM Staff Mentorship - to connect with leaders and get objective advice to strengthen your decision-making, leadership skills and business acumen

Teaching and Mentoring Academy - an inclusive, school-wide entity available to all those who teach and mentor our trainees – MD students, PhD students, residents, fellows, postdoctoral scholars and faculty. The Academy is a unique organization that spans the spectrum of education and advances the mission of the School of Medicine at all levels including education, research, and clinical care.

External Opportunities

CLIC: Center for Leading Innovation & Collaboration
The CLIC Education Clearinghouse is a centralized space where the CTSA community can find and share a variety of education and workforce development resources for a broad range of audiences, from the general public to Principal Investigators.

DIAMOND
The Development, Implementation and Assessment of Novel Training in Domain-based Competencies (DIAMOND) project is a collaborative effort by the University of Michigan, University of Rochester, The Ohio State University, and Tufts University to provide competency-based education and training to clinical research professionals.

NIH Clinical Research Training
The Office of Clinical Research has the responsibility for courses which provide clinical research training for the spectrum of investigators and others involved in clinical research.

Developed with support from the National Science Foundation, the CyberAmbassadors is a free on-going program which focuses on Communications, Teamwork and Leadership skills. 

Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP)
The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) is a non-profit solely dedicated to representing, supporting, and advocating for clinical research professionals. ACRP supports individuals and life science organizations globally by providing community, education, and credentialing programs.

Society of Clinical Research (SoCRA)
The Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) is a non-profit, charitable and educational membership organization committed to providing education, certification, and networking opportunities to all persons involved in clinical research activities. SOCRA, the premier educational organization for oncology site coordinators, has now emerged as a leading educational organization for clinical researchers in all therapeutic areas, supporting industry, government and academia.
