Dr. Juan Carlos Fernandez-Miranda was recruited to Stanford in 2018 to establish the world’s preeminent center for comprehensive treatment of complex lesions of the brain, skull base, and pituitary regions. His goal is two-fold: educate upcoming physicians in this emerging field and conduct exhaustive research to improve surgical techniques and outcomes.
