The Shudo Lab is seeking a Life Science Research Professional to assist with research projects and perform basic lab functions. A competitive applicant for this position will be interested in various cardiovascular research questions related to molecular underpinnings of heart disease. Candidates must hold a B.S. from an accredited institution in a relevant research field, be highly motived to learn new skills and take on challenging opportunities, and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Preferred candidates will have experience with the following techniques: molecular and cell biology techniques, primary cell culture, microscopy, immunostaining, animal experiments, statistical analyses, and tissue engineering.

The Shudo Lab is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to accelerate tissue engineering studies. A competitive applicant for this position will be interested in one of the following fields: stem cell biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, biomechanical engineering, cardiac surgery, computational biology, bioinformatics, or biostatistics. Candidates must hold a Ph.D./M.D. from an accredited institution in a relevant research field, have strong laboratory, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. ​
