PI, Gen Shinozaki, MD, received the Fall 2017 Pilot Grant Award from the Department of Psychiatry. The grant will fund Shinozaki’s  research project: Epigenetic changes induced by high dose glucocorticoids.

PhD Student Patricia Braun presented "IMAGE-CpG: Development of a web-based search tool for genome-wide DNA methylation correlation between live human brain and peripheral tissues within individuals" at a WCPG conference in Orlando, Florida.

Research fellow Mai Tanaka-Sahker presented a poster titled “Psychiatric symptoms following glucocorticoid administration in oral surgery” at the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) annual meeting. The event was held in San Francisco, CA.
