Recently, numerous applications of focused ultrasound have been described for use in basic and clinical neuroscience. Kim Butts Pauly and Raag Airan will discuss the state-of-the-art of this fast moving and developing field, including applications for noninvasive functional neurosurgery, neuromodulation, and targeted drug delivery.
