We believe that healthcare should be directed by patients and their values. When physicians and patients actively collaborate in healthcare decisions, patients receive care that better aligns with their preferences. This collaborative approach leads to better patient outcomes, higher satisfaction, higher quality of care, and higher value of care.

We aim to redefine value in healthcare by empowering the patient VOICE.

Supporting our research lab goes towards the following:

  1. Developing tools to better understand what patients value and prefer in their treatment.
  2. Increasing our number of Research Assistants needed to complete clinical studies; many of whom use this as an opportunity to learn about health policy prior to applying to medical school.
  3. Creating tools to help other patients make decisions that align with their goals and values.
