The Summer Math & Science Honors (SMASH) Academy brings students from underrepresented and low-income backgrounds to Stanford University for tuition-free STEM studies, college preparation, and professional networking.
In 2018, S-SPIRE began offering a new medical/healthcare curriculum with the goal of inspiring high school students to consider a future in healthcare careers and participate in a diverse medical workforce. SMASH-Med Academy is a free-of-cost, STEM-intensive college preparation program for underrepresented and low-income high school students.
