Speaker Bio:

Nicolas Boulant, PhD is pioneering human MRI at 11.7T together with his team at CEA NeuroSpin in Saclay near Paris. He also coordinates a consortium of leading European UHF MR research teams within 'AROMA', an EU-funded Horizon 2020 FET Open project.

Abstract:

Dr. Boulant will discuss the CEA 11.7T odyssey from conception to first images, plus recent experiments on the Berkeley 7T NexGen scanner with Impulse gradients.
