Akshay Chaudhari joins Stanford IBIIS faculty
RSL's own Akshay Chaudhari is now an Assistant Professor of research in the Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics at Stanford (IBIIS) section in the Department of Radiology.
Akshay graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Bioengineering, completed his Ph.D. from Stanford University’s Department of Bioengineering in 2017 and trained as a postdoctoral fellow with RSL. Akshay impressed and inspired his fellow researchers by winning a number of young investigator and teaching awards, as well as being awarded three prestigious fellowships - National Science Foundation, Whitaker, and Siebel.
Akshay is also the Associate Director of Research and Education at the Stanford AIMI Center and is an internal advisory board member of the Precision Health and Integrated Diagnostics Center.
