Research on Noninvasive Neuromodulation with Nanoparticles using FUS Highlighted in Nature

November 9, 2017

Neuromodulation is any form of alteration of nerve activity through the delivery of physical (electrical, magnetic, optical) stimulation or chemical agents to targeted sites of the body.

The research of Raag Airan MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Radiology (Neuroimaging and Neurointervention), and Kim Butts Pauly, PhD, Professor of Radiology and Electrical Engineering (by courtesy), on noninvasive neuromodulation with nanoparticles using focused ultrasound (FUS) has been highlighted in Nature.
