2011 RSL Alum to give OHBM Keynote Address
Catie Chang, Assistant Professor of CS, EE and BME at Vanderbilt University, has been invited to give a prestigious Keynote address at the Organization for Human Brain Mapping’s 2019 Annual Meeting in Rome. Catie received her PhD(EE) in the RSL in 2011 under the direction of Gary Glover, and became an NIH postdoc fellow before moving to Vanderbilt in fall 2018. She has been internationally recognized and highly cited for her pioneering functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging graduate studies that initiated the field of dynamic functional brain connectivity. This work demonstrates that intrinsic brain networks can exhibit dramatically varying characteristics that are coupled with a wide variety of neurobiological and physiological phenomena.
