Stanford Receives CZI Grant to Study Vascular Disease

A team of three StanfordMed researchers was awarded a grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI). Drs. Joseph Woo (Lead), Elsie Gyang Ross, and Philip Tsao received $525,000 in funding to study vascular disease in diverse populations.

Dr. Elsie Ross, an assistant professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery, has been awarded a K01. The NIH grant will fund her proposal titled: Using artificial intelligence to enable early identification and treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD).
