Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (NIH T32) - Applications due January 1st

M.D. and M.D./Ph.D. applicants must have completed an approved residency program. M.D. and M.D./PhD applicants should have completed clinical training in psychiatry, behavioral neurology, or behavioral pediatrics. In specific circumstances, clinical training credit for the PGY-4 year may be arranged.

Ph.D. applicants must have completed: an APA- or CPA-accredited graduate program, an APA- or CPA-accredited internship, all requirements for their Ph.D. prior to beginning their appointment, and must be US citizens or permanent residents.

  • PROJECT #1 (Mechanisms of Ketamine in OCD; NIMH R01) We are seeking a postdoctoral scientist who is interested in examining the mechanisms of ketamine in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) who would like to work within a multi-disciplinary team and lead data analyses and drive peer-reviewed publications from the outcomes of a recently completed mechanistic randomized, clinical trial of ketamine in OCD with multi-modal data (fMRI, MRS, EEG).   • PROJECT #2 (Opioid Mechanisms of Ketamine in OCD; NIMH R01)  We are seeking a postdoctoral scientist who is interested in learning more about Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders who would like to who would like to lead a mechanistic trial that would be the first to probe the role of ketamine's opioid properties in modulating fronto-striatal circuitry and bringing about anti-obsessional effects in OCD. MD applicants must have completed ACGME-accredited training, be board eligible or board certified, and have an active, unrestricted U.S. license to practice. International medical graduates must also have a current visa and an ECFMG certificate that is valid indefinitely. Applicants on a J-1 visa must also have current ECFMG sponsorship.
