HBCU Medical Student Summer Research Program (REACH Initiative)

This is an 8-week summer research program. The program aims to expose medical students, who may ultimately apply to psychiatry (including Stanford), to psychiatric research and contribute to a research effort. At the end of the eight weeks, the candidates must present a poster on their project.

A key deliverable under REACH is a commitment to build bi-directional collaborations with Historically Black Medical Colleges (HBMC) that includes: Howard University College of Medicine, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine.
