Roberts Vision Development & Oculomotor Lab

Dr. Tawna Roberts

Tawna Roberts, OD, PhD, is an associate professor of ophthalmology (pediatric) at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Roberts directs a research program that is funded by grants from the National Eye Institute to study vision development in infants and young children as well as binocular vision disorders in adolescents with concussion. Her research interests include vision development, binocular vision, amblyopia, and strabismus.


She earned her OD degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. Then, a year later completed an optometry residency at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Roberts obtained her PhD degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
