Jinghang Xie, Ph.D.

Jinghang did his PhD with Dr. William K. Chan at University of the Pacific, where he discovered that the flanking sequences of dioxin response elements (DRE) contribute to the differential regulation of Cytochrome P450 enzyme 1A1 and 1B1. He has also constructed Pichia Pastoris expression systems to over express full length human Ah receptor and Arnt proteins. In current research, Jinghang mainly focus on the biological evaluation of novel molecular probes for the diagnosis of cancer and infectious diseases.
