Hejie Cui
Dr. Hejie Cui is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University, where she conducts research on post-training and evaluation of large language models (LLMs) for healthcare applications. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Emory University in May 2024, where her work focused on developing AI and data mining techniques to extract actionable insights from complex multimodal datasets and adapting AI models for domain-specific challenges. Dr. Cui’s research lies at the intersection of machine learning, large language and vision models, and data science. She has authored more than 30 publications in premier venues such as NeurIPS, ACL, KDD, AAAI, and IEEE-TMI. Her contributions have been widely recognized, including being named a 2023 Rising Star in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and a 2024 Rising Star at the Michigan AI Symposium.
