1st place SIIM Scientific Poster & Demonstration Award

At the recent Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) Annual Meeting and InformaticsTECH Expo, held in National Harbor, Maryland, from June 27-29, 2024, the Stanford Radiology affiliated poster titled “Enhancing MRI Service Delivery: A Data-Driven Approach to Reducing Wait Times and Increasing Throughput” won the 1st place Scientific Poster and Demonstration Award.

The poster was part of a previous project focusing on MRI access through the Realizing Improvement through Team Empowerment (RITE) program at Stanford. The RITE project also involved other Stanford Radiology faculty, including Ryan Brunsing, Mike Iv, Matt Petterson, Teresa Nelson, and Pete Dubbs.

The poster was presented by Amy Bui, Senior Clinical Data Analyst from the Stanford Health Care Radiology Department, and other poster co-authors included Christoph Zorich and Tom Cartwright
